This was a great place to stay! Although the room and bathroom seemed not very new, it was well maintained and clean. The kitchen had a reasonable set of utensils. The balcony was very large, a great place for breakfasts or dinners. The balcony door had a mosquito net (very much needed).

Angela always help us with everything. The place is in a perfect location and at night the street could be a bit noisy but the room has air conditioner so if you close the window you will hear nothing. The Villa looks over the most beautiful bay and is located in a lovely part of southern Paxos, with its own pool. Such a gorgeous location. We loved watching the boats come in and swimming in the nearby beaches too. The property was very comfortable for a family of 4, fully equipped to cook with air conditioning, wifi, bbq and outdoor seating. The host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely go back.

What can I say, Eleni & Kostas have created a little bit of paradise. The villa is so much better than expected, it’s immaculate and everything you could need is so thoughtfully provided much more than the usual tea and coffee. Towels and sheets are changed regularly (that smell amazing) . You couldn’t ask for better hosts, who meet you at the ferry and take you to the villa and recommend everything to see on Paxos. Eleni’s sourdough bread is one of the best, and Kostas fish, wow just amazing. The villa has a beautiful pool, surrounded by a well thought out garden with amazing views and in a peaceful location. A 5–10-minute walk into idyllic Gaios you will find plenty of bars and restaurants. The rest of the island is just a short drive away, more beaches than you can imagine. Each one stunning. Everything is just perfect, we are already planning our next trip. We feel we have found friends in Eleni & Kostas xx

It’s a tiny village not far from the main town on the island. There is a public bus service between the two. Lakka has plenty of cafés, bakeries, minimarkets, restaurants, and small shops. The town is a perfect spot for explorers who are looking for adventure, beautiful beaches, and safety all at once.

Beautiful place, restaurants around the harbour and up the lovely little side streets. All the ones we tried were very good but Nionios was our favourite, the little touch of taking us into the kitchen to show what was on offer took me back 30 years, when I was last here. Really nice little bar on the front playing fabulous music. Walks around the area, to a couple of popular beaches and more remote ones. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

A beautiful, clean village full of nice restaurants, but without any crazy nightclubs or tacky souvenirs. Paxos island is perfect for exploring beaches – it’s not overly touristy, and renting a boat to sail around the island

I recommend Lakka instead of Gaios, Much better access for the beach, Harami is the best restaurant, but unfortunately only for lunch. Worth rent a chair near the restaurant, amazing food great staff. If you come once to Lakka you will get addicted.

Delightful atmosphere. Good variety of places to eat. Very friendly shops, tavernas and accommodation. Getting there from Giaos on arrival with your luggage requires pre-booking a taxi as there's a shortage. You can't wheel your cases along most of the roads on Paxos - they're too rough so you'll need to be dropped off as close as possible to your accommodation. Lakka's beaches are lovely, with sand in the shallows so you can stand up comfortably. Avoid them across the middle of the day when the excursions boats are in as they get busy, but from 2pm they're quiet again.

Lakka is a small fishing village with a touristy front line...

Lakka is a small fishing village with a touristy front line filled with tavernas and caffes. The people are very friendly and helpful, the food is homey and delicious, and there's a peaceful quality to the place. Everything is within walking distance, and if you need to go to Gaios, you can take the local bus. There are a few small pebbely beaches with quite beautiful waters, and a lot of boats. If you see sunbeds - they're probably for a cost of 8-10 euros for 2, be aware. You can hire a boat (in advance) and travel to different beaches along the coast of the island. If you want to calm down and unwind, Lakka is a great place for you. I fell in love with the peaceful quiteness of this village when visiting on a day trip a few years ago, and had to come back =)

Rania's cottage is located in a peaceful, green area, close to one the most beautiful beaches on Paxos. It is a well equipped and charming place, where you can live your "siga siga" life. The house is surrounded by lovely, friendly cats that make this place even more amazing. We already miss the cottage, the island and cats.

Great location and the property has everything you can want. Air con is very powerful and kept the bedroom really cold even though it is in the living room. We can walk to the sea in less than 2 mins and all the local bars and restaurants are great. We have been coming to Paxos for many years and will be back next year too!

Costas the manager of the apartments was always on hand for any queries and was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was very spacious and was spotlessly clean. The maid did a great job keeping the apartments clean. Would definitely visit again
