Safe village with rich Svaneti Historical museum. Worth to visit Laghami church as well. In the country, which is famous for wines, visiting local beer brewery "Setieli" might be an exotic adventure and fun. Favourite place to eat Lanchvali restaurant, if too tired to get up to the hill, "Lushnu Our" might be the second choise, although too crowdy. Cable car get you up to Zuruldi masiff. Mestia is great location for those who enjoy one day trecking and walks.

We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains.

We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains. It's a small cozy town. Wooden and stone buildings perfectly complement the mountain scenery. As for food, for a small town there is a good choice of restaurants, cafes, and there are also small grocery stores. We mostly went hiking near Mestia and got a lot of positive impressions, enjoying the amazing scenery.

One of the most beautiful places in the world - amazing views, pristine nature, ancient unique history and culture, a lot of interesting beautiful places around, so many activities in the place and in around villages (fishing, horse, car or bicycle rental, hiking, visiting museums, restaurants including with a live music, sauna etc.) And again really adorable views at first.

In Mestia, we saw the Ethnographic Museum, the Margiani Museum, the Mikheil Khergiani Museum, we saw Ushba and the Ethnographic Museum there, the Svan towers, the water and food in Mestia are very delicious, the air is clean, the local people are extraordinary, we still have other places to see and we plan to visit Svaneti again.

The journey up through the mountains from Zugdidi to Mestia is itself outstanding for the beauty of the mountain scenery that one passes through. Mestia provides many opportunities to explore the high Caucasus Mointains with its many guided tours that are on offer locally.

one of the best hotels at this price range that we ever stayed at ever all around the world. Super clean, cozy, modern design and fantastic views of the mountains. The hosts are amazing, Inga is such a welcoming and friendly person, we order breakfast once and she made it for us really fresh and hearty, so our experience was impeccable. The location is also very convenient, close to everything in the center of Mestia.

The location is beautiful just in between two of the famous towers in this region, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and nice. Just in front of the rooms there is a sunny balcony with a nice view overlooking Mestia. The host is extremely friendly and the breakfast delicious and plenty! We totally recommend this accommodation (have stayed here 3 nights), it was the best on our entire trip through Svaneti !

Owners Anna and her mum-in-law could not have been nicer or more helpful, best hotel owners we've met. Room was clean and comfortable with an amazing mountain view, and right near the centre of town, such good value for money. Breakfast is amazing and well worth getting, we even took some leftover for our lunch while hiking. If ever we are in Mestia we will always stay here!
