The host Andy was great! Very easy to talk to and everything was made simple to collect the keys and communicate back and forth. I arrived late as I had problems arriving but it wasn’t any problem. The property itself is super cosy and relaxed ! Cleanliness is immaculate ! Never seen a place so clean that takes regular guests … the carpets are super soft the bed is a memory foam mattress and you sink into it along with the quilt. There’s boxed cereal packets with cookies on offer along with tea coffee etc Full clean cooling facilities and organic soaps fresh for new arrivals. Andy was always on reach throughout my stay if I needed anything and is friendly and approachable .

Such a lovely place to stay. Everything was fantastic. Lovely room and view. A very comfortable place to stay. A highlight was the delightful lady running breakfast in the morning. Both mornings she was so attentive and happy and she really started our days off on a high note. We loved her.

From the moment we arrived Nicki the landlady was charming and attentive ,showed us to our room that far exceeded our expectations ,this is a hidden jewel and we will definitely return ,we have already recommended it to 2 friends and will continue to spread the good word . Beautiful setting - have nice walks around with the background of a lake and a wonderful garden to relax in. Have all amenities from toiletries to an excellent, freshly cooked breakfast. Our hosts Sam and Lisa were super nice and welcoming, so were their pets. Will definitely be coming back.

    Very isolated make sure you have everything you need before...

    Very isolated make sure you have everything you need before you arrive such as essentials as nothing stays open very late and you’re miles out from anywhere especially if you don’t drive ! It’s a nice and small place to visit . Very peaceful and beautiful to see so enjoy ! I didn’t get to see much though as I wasn’t here long at all but for the time I stayed I have zero complaints and I’d recommend staying at ‘the bay’ on Howells rd the host is called Andy and the photos of the place don’t do it justice .

    Great location for wedding venue we attended.

    Great location for wedding venue we attended. Ate pub special day arrived, otherwise just had full English breakfast. Downstairs conversation travelled to room but after all building is very old. Plenty historical buildings for interest, accommodation is a coachhouse, centrally located, parking available. Walking distance to Bude though terraine a little hilly for the feint hearted. For those reliant on public transport, local bus runs often throughout the day.

    There was a fantastic local shop almost had every thing very...

    There was a fantastic local shop almost had every thing very helpful people in there . Not much regards walking and eating . Had use car once you moved the nightmare parking space goes ! Do need to book a table . The lion was a very friendly and great food well priced . All take aways you had to collect !
