Great place to visit. Nice cafes pubs and restaurants. Shoreham is on the river Adur which is pretty. There is a foot bridge across. The houseboats along the river are interesting and make for a lovely stroll along. You can also walk onto Shoreham beach which is nice. Lovely , fairly quiet location with excellent access to Brighton, Worthing and further along coast and inland. Coastal path was good and easy to use. Shoreham a lovely town - except for the seagulls! Plenty of eateries at all times of day and evening. Lots of local information available and also locals very obliging re walking routesand access to the town re footbridge across estuary. I had a comfortable visit and can clearly see the time you have put into making the stay homely. Brighton is only a 20 minute drive away which is extremely convenient.
