Rostrevor is a must for anyone visiting Ireland......it is a magical village set against the backdrop of the Mourne Mountains and on the shores of beautiful Carlingford Lough. It is so peaceful and idyllic and offers a perfect mix of tradition, culinary delights, talented artists and good craic! As the song goes......"if you ever go across the sea to Ireland"......make sure you visit Rostrevor

Rostrevor is tucked into the base of the Mourne Mountains and the mountain never leaves you...Behind each roof top is a lovely green mountain framing your experience and calling to you to come back. You can walk everywhere and get right up onto the mountain right away. The food is fresh and coastal and moderately priced. The Folk Music is some of the best I've found anywhere.

The Sands B&B was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The Sands B&B was nice and we enjoyed our stay. John and Anne were friendly and breakfast was nice . We had a sea view room which was nice and the place is not noisy. The only thing l didn’t like was that it rained all day on Saturday so we were unable to explore the area

Disappointed by the room while the Pub and the restaurant belonging the same owner were really nice and need to be really considered for a stop in Rostrevor. The room (number 1) is really small and located in the ground floor with direct window to the street. Honestly we had the impression to sleep in the street due to the isolation so it was not very nice. Nevertheless as said we have spent a really nice moment in the pub and we have eaten very well at the restaurant

Arrived at a lovely welcome, our hosts were a really nice family, and our breakfast was delicious. Had a really nice time in beautiful Rostrevor. Art galleries, walks on the beach and forest and parks. Enjoyed a half of Guinness and a Mourne Dew Gin and Tonic. Also, had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants.
