We were given a very warm welcome on our arrival, and Paddy and Liz were outstanding hosts throughout. They were very friendly and easy to talk with, including an invitation to join them for a cup of tea on our arrival. We were able to readily park completely off the road up a long driveway. It was a very pleasant home and garden. We had our own separate space with pleasing decor, a comfortable bed, an onsuite shower room, and our own separate toilet. There was all we needed for a restful stay- toiletries if needed, tea and coffee making, including a coffee plunger and a basket of snacks. Reigate is a just a few minutes drive away and is a very pleasant town with a range of shops, cafes and eating places.

Amazing location for traveler who has a flight departing Gatwick the following day. We arrived from Rome to Gatwick in North terminal after midnight, had a 2 min walk within airport to the Hampton without having to hit the outdoors. The rooms were comfortable with lovely bedding which aided in good night’s rest. Lots of outlets to charge up phones, tablets, etc. Wonderful English breakfast was included.

    Reigate is lovely. Priory Park is beautiful. There are some lovely restaurants in Reigate and some wonderful historic buildings. I probably wouldn't choose to stay at the Bridge House Hotel again but we have enjoyed Reigate.

    We used to reside in Reigate until 4yrs ago when we moved away to be beside the sea. Reigate is a lovely place with lots of history. It has great commuter lines with trains & buses or by car. Lovely parks. Excellent shops, restaurants, bars & cafes.

    Lovely and clean apartment, well decorated with everything to make my stay comfortable. It's also near good amenities, station, supermarket and restaurant - Love Hatay Restaurant, a lovely Turkish place less than 5mins drive from the apartment.

    As Reigate old town and high street can get full of traffic,...

    As Reigate old town and high street can get full of traffic, we recommend travelling into reigate by bus - or even walking from the Reigate Manor Hotel down hill - about 20 minutes. The town itself has some interesting buildings and is full of olde worlde charm. THere is a castle and some pleasant parks as well as good shops and Pubs or restaurants. WE had Sunday lunch at our hotel which was an excellent carvery with good waiting staff.

    Lovely place for people who enjoy hiking&nature.

    Lovely place for people who enjoy hiking&nature. Reigate Hill and Gatton park are amazing for a long, relaxing walk and the view is amazing. In terms of shopping or sightseeing, there isn't much - just your classic UK high street experience. Good place for a one-day getaway from London.

    Nothing any good at the hotel but the town was very pleasant. Room carpet was filthy. There was no bin to put waste in and we asked for one but nothing ever came. Window was filthy and had not been cleaned for months. We understand the hotel had just been taken over. We were told there was no chef when we arrived at the restaurant but the had a short menu who cooked it we do not know but it was very poor. We had Eggs and supposedly hand carved ham and something else which I cannot remember. It was cold and we left most of it. There was no breakfast in the morning and we could not get out of their fast enough the following morning. We had paid by voucher which was dearer thane originally booked and then they presented us with an invoice for £80 odd. You asked about having a television there was one but only BBC 1 and 2 worked. I wrote a review of another hotel I stayed in the week before in Wigan and that was bad and you said you would not publish it. If you do not publish this one I am likely to take further action.     The hotel was nice and warm ..felt very comfortable there in the bar/lounge whilst my husband was working ..and the food I had was delicious as was our breakfast the next day . The staff were all lovely ..I had a good nights sleep …but I did ask for a room at the back away from the road.
