Pitlochry is a beautiful Highland Perthshire town surrounded by lovely countryside and hills. It's an excellent centre for walking and cycling, while its Festival Theatre has a programme of performances throughout the year. It's a place my family and I have visited many times over the years. A beautiful accessible little town.
A beautiful accessible little town. Fabulous independant shops and restaurants. Pitlochry is gorgeous all year round but particularly in the Autumn. Locals are very welcoming. A wee visit to the gorgeous St Brides RC chapel is recommended. And the Seafood Linguine in the Auld Smiddy is to die for. Cute little town for overnight or weekend. Lots of distilleries and breweries to check out. There are hiking trails or just walk up the hill to Moulin Hotel’s bar for a pint. Award winning Ian Burnett Chocolate shop is just a 20 minute drive away.Guest review byLawrence - 6.0

We are regular visitors to this wonderful town and lucky enough to have experienced fantastic weather on the last three occasions. Very challenging putting green and well worth a visit. Breakfast were very good, however, unusually the cooked breakfast was not self service like most Hotels these days, but ordered through a waiter. There is a nice new swimming pool installed that I took advantage of as well. The staff especially on reception where very pleasant and welcoming. Although the hotel is old, the decor is lovely. The hotel lounge area is very spacious. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of accessories, hairdryer shampoo and luxury soaps.
