There is absolutely everything to love about The Clockhouse. Sam, the host, is so warm and welcoming, as is The Clockhouse itself. I travelled with my mother, so wanted everything to be perfect for her, but our stay absolutely exceeded even my highest expectations. The bed is marvelously comfy, the bathroom stocked with lovely things. I loved that Sam lived in the main house, rather than there being an absentee host and just a lock box. Great amenities nearby, including a lively Italian restaurant, fish and chip take away and Coop. Excellent taxi service, recommended by Sam, too. We came back, after an excellent day’s guided pilgrimage, soaking wet due to some ferocious rain storms during our walk, and The Clockhouse was like a dear friend, enveloping us in warmth and comfort. We cannot thank Sam and Tim enough for their hospitality.

This cabin is perfect. The owners have really used their extra garden space to their advantage, with its own access. It has everything you need for a short stay in Windsor. It smells of fresh pine, which is so nice. It’s about a 10 min walk to the bus stop 8 to get into Windsor or other locations as we flew in. Everything was lovely and we were sad to leave the cabin. If we need to be in that location again, I would book this again.

Clean and all room were ready.... Didn't need to get towel shower item or hand washes ...kitchen was clean and we didn't have to bring item to wash and clean up behind us .... Host was helpful as we didn't plan the day and best is to let them know what they will expect u rather than making them stay in all or nearby... Communication was spot on.... Plenty of space in room for 2 average family.... Defo space for 2 cars on The drive... Any extra will have to ask the host for parking but nearby plenty space in the area but don't know about permits if required....

Booked this hotel last minute because our flight was canceled at the last moment. London was too far to go back to because we had an early flight in the morning again. Wanted to end the nice weekend with a nice hotel. And that it was indeed! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel. Would never of thought of it - used to staying in London - but this is definitely something to keep in mind for the next visit. Beautiful rooms, good service.

They upgraded my room at no additional cost in order to accommodate my additional child. I was also able to check in earlier than the listed time as I was coming in from a long flight and extremely tired. Within no time I got the extra bed set up in my room and everyone was out of our way so we could rest. The inclusive bathroom was something I've never experienced before but I'd recommend any special needs or disabled individual to Moxy

    Evensong at St George’s chapel highly recommended.

    Evensong at St George’s chapel highly recommended. We were on a guided pilgrimage, and visited the Ankerwyke Yew, Runnymede, and Windsor Park during our day’s walking. If you have the chance to go on one, check out ‘The Pilgrimage Trust’ website, as there’s another in November, I believe. Stunning views in the Park of the deer , including some absolutely magnificent stage and then the walk up the ride to the castle mustn’t be missed. Wish we could have viewed more of Windsor, especially near The Thames, on the following day, but the rain was so heavy we called it off. Definitely visit!
