Ye Olde Griffin is a newly refurbished old coaching inn, in the centre of March. It has good food, free Wi-Fi in the bar, and a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Lovely, welcoming host. Super comfy bed and quality bedding. Delicious, well presented and perfectly sized, cooked breakfast. For a solo business traveller, the room size was perfect and having a dining table and chairs in the room to work at was great - it was a family room. I particularly appreciate that my hosts were receptive to my suggestion to offer a pot of tea or coffee to accompany breakfast, rather than leaving a guest to make a cup themselves using the provisions on the landing. Besides breakfast, making a hot drink could be tedious as achieving a good cuppa for one more than once, let alone for a family staying, is a better and more enjoyable experience if plenty of what's needed is at hand. Of course, hosts are very willing and keen to please and ensure guests are delighted, bringing more on request but not having to ask makes for a frictionless stay. I will stay again and highly recommend Fourwinds to others.

A charming place which exceeded our expectations. Amenities like milk, juice, butter and snack bars being available in the in-room fridge, plus access to the main kitchen with coffee maker and toaster, a choice of cereals and fruit laid out were most welcome. Being able to sit in the sun in the garden or conservatory was an added bonus. Other little touches, such as a hot water bottle (not used) in the room and nice toiletries in the en-suite bathroom, showed the amount of thought given to guests' needs by the owners. When we're next staying in March, this will be our go-to place.
