This was our 2nd visit to Dunkerleys, its a lovely hotel, the staff are so friendly and accommodating and the restaurant food is amazing, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is enjoyable, we will definitely come back

We had a very comfortable stay. Our room was very clean and quiet. The sea view was great. There was also an ironing set in the room.. we felt very grateful for that. The shower unit was very easy to use and we enjoyed having a shower. The breakfast was rich with options and everything was very tasty. We regretted we didn't have sports clothes with us to have a chance to try out the gym as well. Next time.. :)

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Really friendly staff, couldn't feel more welcome :) The room was marvelous (great bed too!!). I always love a good boutique hotel and this one all expectations (and more). I would come back to Deal just to stay in The Rose once more or have a lovely diner/breakfast there.

A wonderful historic building and fabulous location. Our room was on the second floor with three large windows and views of the sea and the pier. The staff were so dog friendly. We had two dogs and they were fussed and pampered all the time.

    We loved the pool, crazy golf, tennis courts and table...

    We loved the pool, crazy golf, tennis courts and table tennis. Having loads of grass areas around the grandchildren could play football or just run around. We had an Indian takeaway delivered, which was really good. The Rising Sun pub do very good food, only a short walk away. We went shopping in Deal, bought some lovely things. Drinking our morning coffee on the decking outside, with the sun shining and a view of the sea is something I will miss. We used the Deli and got some really good sausages and burgers.

    The holiday home was perfect it had everything we needed Jo really went all out to make it perfect, there was games, books for adults and children, cosy blankets for the evening. The sea view was perfect from the front room, lovely to watch in the evening.

    Weather was shocking but beautiful site close to a lovely beach and if there hadn't been driving rain it would have been great for walking! Walked to local pub for a few drinks on Saturday evening which was nice and has a friendly barman, although my brother-in-law walked (in the rain) to the pub on the beach which he said was lovely. Ate at chalet, kitchen fine, table a bit squashed but fine for pizza's on knees in lounge! Swam in pool on Sunday morning, fine but no privacy for changing. I'm sure it's really busy here in summer but would be lovely off-season in good weather! Note- we had 2 chalets, one had a great sea view.
