Highcliffe is not a Castle, just an expensive country house built around 1830 as wings on to an older private chapel. We wish we had known how noisy the rooms are at the front of the hotel ! If you dont mind keeping the triple glazed windows shut you can have the air conditioning on !! Still lots of noise!!
