We were visiting my son and his grandchild’s first birthday who live in Barrow five minutes away from this property. The property is a Terrace cottage with parking at the rear, which can easily accommodate two vehicles. It was a delightful cottage with excellent facilities and very cosy Mary, the owner was more than helpful. I will gladly stay there on my next visit.

Historical buildings and very well preserved . Lovely proprietor & housekeeper and he was very happy to discuss the properties’ history . Immaculately clean and the breakfast was delicious ( just like my Nan made ) . My daughter and I had a wonderful wend and Will definately be returning . Thank you so much to you all .

Arrived late, the bar man (Alfie) arrange a drink and crisps as I missed the restaurant. Following morning Alfie asked the chef for a larger breakfast for me as I’d missed dinner.

    The cottage is beautiful, gorgeous decor, a very well equipped kitchen; Thank you Sarah. Loved the diningroom, the lounge and the quiet location. We met with friends who had travelled from the South of England. The only adverse point we (both parties made), we were led to believe there were two bathrooms; this would have been ideal for two couples. There is one gorgeous, full bathroom upstairs (super hot water immediate in the big shower), and a toilet and basin downstairs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.
