Froggatt is a great location - we parked the car and didn't use it until we left. Plenty of places within walking distance, many pretty paths/riverside walks locally - walked to Padley Gorge, Eyam, up to Froggatt Edge and around to White Edge, Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge as well as around the Derwent river Short rides to Monsal Trail, Chatsworth Estate, Ladybower Reservoir, Castleton.... Great Craft shop (and Cafe) at Calver Bridge

Excellent place for walks.

Excellent place for walks. Froggatt edge just a short climb away, up the road and along wooded tracks. Stunning views. River at the end of the lane for the start of other walks. . Chatsworth and Longshaw short drives away, and the more popular Mam Tor, Lud's Church about a half hour's drive away. Plenty more good walks! And beautiful, interesting churches and history. Small Spar supermarket 5 minute drive away for basic provisions. Local pub very friendly, quiet but quite expensive. But a nice little scramble up the hill through the woods!

Lovely rural location for escaping to the countryside.

Lovely rural location for escaping to the countryside. We enjoyed all our pre-booked meals in the dining room at Cliff College. Great menu with choices for dietary needs and served with a smile. Amazed at how well the staff coped with serving such large numbers. Definitely hope to return.

Froggart is probably one of the prettiest villages in the Peak District with good walks and pretty central to be able to get to everywhere without being touristy. 2 minutes down the road from Calver which has all the local amenities and it’s over looked by froggartt edge which is a great walk with amazing views onto the village

A beautiful property in the heart of Froggatt. Delightful period features with a lovely sunny terrace. Large rooms provide space to unwind and relax. Kathy the owner was friendly and approachable. The location is a great place to start many walks along the river Derwent and Froggatt Edge but also further afield. We will return.

The location is absolutely idyllic, beautiful property. Stunning views of Froggatt Edge. The property has a kitchen/living space/dining area which is absolutely perfect, there is a double bedroom and a decent sized bathroom. There is an enclosed garden area behind the property which is perfect for a dog.

The location is great. The views from the bedroom were fantastic. Easy to find using sat nav and very easy to get to places around. The shower is very powerful! Good cooker breakfast too. Staying here, please ensure you visit Froggatt Edge which was amazing

Excellent location, we were able to walk to lovely local attractions such as Eyam, Padley Gorge, Derwent Valley and Froggatt/Curbar/Baslow Edges. Studio was very well equipped (a lot better than other similar properties for cooking).
