Great location - close to the Cotswolds and Oxford, but better value accommodation. Lovely walk on the Thames path to Days lock. A picturesque village with Dorchester Abbey right in the heart with services anyone can join in. The choir and music are wonderful. Beautiful walks alongside the Rivers Thame and Thames, and if you are a fan of Midsomer Murders you will be in your element, quite a few scenes have been filmed here, you can even go on a Midsomer Murder walk around the village. It is a lovely quiet village with some nice walks to do and also you can go further afield if you want to visit Oxford. We did a good walk to the nearby Lock and there was a coffee shop to visit on our return that served light lunches and cakes etc. We ate our main meals in 2 hotels and both places had a good selection to choose from and the food was lovely.Guest review byLynnUnited Kingdom - 10

The floors are all slightly sloping and the 15th century building is so quirky. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had a very handy sensor night light under the vanity. The food was great and the location was perfect - right in the middle of a lovely village with a beautiful 12th century cathedral just across the road.
