We have visited Berwick many times as it is only 40 minutes by train from our home. There are lots of interesting shops - antique and good book shops as well as good coffee shops and restaurants. Lovely walk around the walls of the town. It is quite hilly in some parts. Quayside is pleasant on a warm day. Not much to dislike. Beautiful walks everywhere. Steeped in army history. Lovely views from The Rampards and the river walk so peaceful despite the early morning rain! Good choice of eateries both during the day and at night. Even in November the place was busy so best to try and book a table in advance. I went to Limoncello in the evening. Great walks and massive choice of great places to eat. A walk round the ramparts and Lowry trail were great. Repas 7 great for food and live music on a Saturday evening and the sharing platters at Atelier are a great lunch option. Best to book at both.Guest review byAnonymous - 10
