Everything about The Fanny Talbot is fabulous The accommodation is immaculate and tasteful. The staff are amazing - thank you so much, Nevin and Luke. The other staff members were brilliant also, but I don't have their names. The location with private parking close by could not be better. The Fanny Talbot restaurant is 5 stars and has amazing value. I highly recommend The Fanny Talbot. Thank you all again for a brilliant stay.

Everything. There is a late check-in option, excellent facilities, a tasty breakfast (which you can personalize during check-in), and a bar with good beer and some snacks you can buy. We had a problem with our room, but Vaselina solved this. She is an actual angel—she helped us, gave recommendations, and made our stay. I wish there were more receptionists like her!

My partner and myself had a lovely and relaxing stay at this lovely modern two bedroom apartment overlooking the estuary/beach and the snow peaked hills. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need including a smart tv in the Lounge with Netflix and YouTube etc. Nothing was too much trouble. The bay window with two comfortable chairs and a pair of binoculars was well used especially every morning whilst we both enjoyed our coffee. Many thanks once again for a lovely stay. Highly recommended ! You won’t be disappointed. Dave and Claire from Somerset.

Barmouth; if you don't know is surrounded by beautiful mountainous countryside, has a large expanse of sandy beach along a very accessible promenade. Good road or rail links. Personally I prefer decent main roads to the unpredictability of Motorways though roadworks seem to appear anywhere these days, so it can take a little longer, but the views make up for it for me. Plenty of places to eat and drink,

We had a Fantastic meal at the Fanny Talbot. We had a lovely time at the shops as there is so much variety. Rum & raisin Ice cream at the Harbour. met some lovely people. Barmouth is a Brilliant place to visit either on your own or with a Family.

Not very wonderful and absolutely dead after seven in the evening - we couldnt find anywhere to eat and finally had to settle for fish and chips in the car. Unfortunately, the tide was in both morning and evening and apart from nearer the harbour, there was no sand left to walk on We drove a few miles further towards Harlech and found a good sandy beach there although you had to pay for parking..

A lovely town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. The beach is lovely and there was a sauna on the beach too! 3 places I would highly recommend: 1. Bistro Bermo for amazing food. You will need to book as it's only small. 2. Dylan's for fabulous cakes, savouries & coffee 3. Pieces for Places for gifts, homewares and furniture. There was a small market on Sunday and I think there is one on another day too. Plenty of choice of shops. I would also recommend a walk across the bridge.

Barmouth is a lovely seaside town.

Barmouth is a lovely seaside town. I have been coming here every year for over 50 years and it is like a second home to me. Will continue to visit this wonderful place. Harlech castle isn’t far along the coast with several fab beaches along the way. Barmouth bridge walk is lovely with a ferry boat in Fairbourne to take you back to Barmouth harbour.

Barmouth is a great place ,a hidden gem lots to see & do for all ages. Plenty of excellent eating places and wonderful scenery. The beach is long and with lovely sand with dunes & surrounded by the welsh hills . The beach promenade is flat to walk along & fairly clean with benches to sit and rest when needed. We had a great 2 day stay there.👌

We had a brilliant weekend stay! The house is very spacious, making it perfect for a couple of families to stay very comfortably. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire place was warm and cozy. The water was hotel, and all the amenities we needed were readily available. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Communication with the host was excellent – clear, prompt, and helpful. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

I am an experienced traveller and have stayed in many hotels both in the UK and abroad but the sandbanks is certainly the best hotel I have ever had the good fortune to stay in. The sandbanks deserves a five star rating and should also be awarded a Michelin star for its exceptional cuisine. I will remember my stay at the sandbanks until the day I die.

Wonderful relaxing stay ! An elevated view of the sea from room 8 ! The owners Ian and Sue were most welcoming. It's a very informal place and is nicely decorated with marine reminders . A superb and historic building and a delight to stay Barmouth has good cafes , shops and a fine railway station . Brilliant ! 😊
