I really enjoyed my stay at this place. Amazing view, very peaceful, good escape from the city life. Nice breakfast. I will come back for sure. Location is very convenient, it's very close to all nice villages of Alsace. Big thanks to the owner for the nice stay.

We were extremely warmly welcomed by the staff when arriving to the hotel. As soon as we parked a staff member came to collect our luggage. He even helped us figure out the tilt function on our bicycle rack, that we did not know about. Upon leaving our bags were put in the car while we did out checkout and our car was driven to next to the main entrance, from where it was very easy to depart. We also liked very much the Winstube restaurant, which was the traditional one of the two restaurants.

Couldn’t fault anything. Location excellent, great room, clean and well laid out. Breakfast was good with attentive staff. Had cocktails in the downstairs bar the night we were there. Close to restaurants with the staff eager to point us in the right direction. Hotel was keen to emphasise the eco credentials of the hotel.

    I loved the views and the solitude at the end of my busy...

    I loved the views and the solitude at the end of my busy days in Sainte Marie aux Mines (I was there for the Carrefour quilt show). The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I found the parking space extremely difficult to reverse into. It’s much easier if you drive in and reverse out. Guests, you need to know that you will need to hire household linens (bed linen, towels and tea towels) if you don’t have your own and that there is a fee for cleaning unless you agree to do it yourselves. This was not clear on the booking.com info when I stayed there last time (or maybe I didn’t read the facilities guide properly when I booked). Would I go back again? You bet; like a shot. I’ve already booked for my next trip 😁😁
