Excellent place to stay. The whole property has this homey feel to it. Rooms are spacious and very clean. It is located just a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants, bars and other amenities, yet the surrounding area is very quite.

Beautiful historic hotel which has been lovingly bought back to original with huge medieval fireplace in breakfast room, original ceiling beams and set in peaceful lush courtyard garden within walking distance to everything Chinon has to offer. The two ladies who looked after us pm and am were lovely and helpful. Nice breakfast which was topped up as required. Good location for a trip to see Chinon and tbe area and to travel further south.

The house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. From the windows, we could see the Chateau de Chinon in the top of the town. The owner, Marielle, is lovely and welcoming, and her garden is a dream, fruit trees, flowers and enough shadow to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Our son (7 yo) enjoyed the stay a lot, as he could play and run in the garden and moreover jump in the swimming pool as much as he wanted. Marielle and her husband were helpful, attentive and gave us tips as what to visit and where to eat in the city. It was the perfect stay for some days on our way to the South.
