    Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors...

    Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Bonus points for Heated Pool in our property we stayed and fantastic running trails!

    Comfy bed, well-equipped apartment, exceptionally clean, great location. Highly recommended. Great for visiting Quimper and Concarneau as well as the rest of South Finistere. Good local restaurants within easy walking distance, as is the beautiful beach.

    Great beach and safe bathing, especially for children. Beautiful civic gardens and plantings. Otherwise boring. Very few 3* plus restaurants, remaining were tourist "reas spoons" all with the same offers. Moules, steak, fish, standard French offerings. One outstanding cafe on the edge of the market square, called Concept 18. Weekly market was excellent. Boat trips and water related activities over priced by Spanish comparison. Planned walks and bicycles available. Many empty decaying properties, including hotels.

    The Grand Hotel Benodet is indeed a ‘grand old lady’ and oozes charm. The hotel is in a fabulous location with restaurants, bars, shops and a beautiful marina right on the doorstep. The staff were so welcoming and professional. We had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the marina and it had some amazing views both in the morning and the evening. I would recommend this ‘grand old lady’ to anyone.

    This is a beautiful hotel which is ideally situated for exploring Benodet plage & the port. The staff were excellent and gave us some great tips on where to eat locally. The breakfast is also superb, with freshly-squeezed orange juice & a wide range of pastries, cereals, breads and other delicacies.

    The location of the hotel is beautiful, gorgeous park, u can take an easy walk to the sea. The breakfast was just right, the room was small but nicely decorated. All and all, I would recommend "Les Garennes".
