Comfortable accommodation for a family of four in a cozy village. Excellent kitchen equipment. In general, everything is of high quality. The apartment really felt like home after a day of trekking. TV is really big :)

The Boathouse at Hosvik is located at the end of a nondescript turn towards the water once you enter the town of Hosvik. Parking is either at the waterfront or beside a building used by a rowing club. The balcony of the boathouse offers awesome views of the fjord-like scene - especially in the early mornings! Kitchen is well equipped and we made quite the feast which was well accommodated on the large dining table. The loft area was very fun and quirky! Love the nautical themes incorporated in the furnishing.

Shoe dryer 😍 The common area is great although very crowded in the evenings. The kitchen is very well equipped and pretty spacious, so it was actually possible to cook (comfortably) simultaneously with other people. I was positively surprised by the bathrooms and showers - exceptionally clean and cosy. Also, the owner is great - very kind and sweet soul with great tips about Faroe Islands and always ready to help out or just chat.

Very good stay at Giljanes Hostel! Bus equipped with several beds, a fridge and sea view! The shared lounge is a great way to meet other travelers! Christian is a nice and available host! Thank you ! I recommend and I hope to return if I have the opportunity to return to the Faroe Islands!

Good location on the island - many points of interest can be easily reached; large TV (Samsung) with apps (Netflix, YouTube, etc.), overall comfortable bed, relatively nicely arranged interior. The apartment was pre-heated before our arrival - so this was great. The apartment has also large fridge, dishwasher and other kitchen amenities.

Staying at the Runavik Hotel was a very nice part of our trip to the Faroe Islands. We stayed for one night at first, but ended up staying for two more nights. The central location of the hotel was convenient for us, with nowhere far to go. We were also given a complimentary upgrade to the best room and although Booking didn't advertise it, breakfast was part of our stay. Everyone in the restaurant was also very nice, both the lady who took care of breakfast and the lady who served us for dinner. The breakfast deserves a special comment as it was very varied - sweet, savoury pastries, sausages, eggs, cold cuts, a wide range of cheeses, cereals etc. We can really recommend a stay in the hotel to anyone looking for comfort when travelling around the beautiful Faroe Islands.
