Best Hotel in Valencia for sure. The building seems new and it’s right in the city center (impossible to find a better location) Our room was spotless, beautiful, luminous, with comfortable beds, big toilet, huge shower, double windows to isolate the noise from the street and with all the amenities you need. The breakfast was delicious and the staff is very kind and professional. (Special thanks to Andrea, Fanny and Maxime) There was a general problem with the air conditioner in the hotel during our last day and the staff handled it in the best possible way (I worked in hotels around the world for many years and I know how hard it is to do things well in cases like this. Cosmo Hotel staff nailed it in every sense.

- Not sure that it is a 4-star hotel, as it is pretty sumple, but who cares. The price was reasonable for a Spanish touristic city (130 euro per night), and the hotel is nice. - Convenient location. It is closer to the science center. Great to walk through the green park to the city heart or take a bus. The district is less touristic and greeny. - Lovely breakfast. See the photo of the menu. It is very fullfilling. - Very friendly staff who is always ready to help. - Window soundproofing is good. - Plenty of cafes around. We loved the Pistachio the most! - Great view from the rooms. - Comfy matrass (as a person with back issues, I can definitely say that it was good!)

FAQs about hotels in Valencia

A Walk Through History

As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.

Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.

The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.

Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

We used an 2019 Michelin guide book rather than phones!

We used an 2019 Michelin guide book rather than phones! We did the old town walk one day, the new town the next. Gluten free bakeries (2) and various cafes all excellent. Botanic garden gorgeous but wear bug spray as mosquitos everywhere here. The archaeological museum underground was amazing and only E2. We took the metro to the beach which was a bit municipal when we got there as end of season but the trip was fun. Check the paella is rice based if you are gluten free as one of them is pasta based. Lots of side streets with small restaurants are amazing and great value for money.

This is a very beautiful city, the park is amazing and you can use it to travel within the city (we walked to the city center). The public transportation is very reliable and accessible, there is a metro station at the airport. Coffee is terrible, limited specialty coffee places, some in the city center. Oceanografic and Bioparc are a must go, as well as at least one movie at the Hemisferic.

Valencia was lovely and the weather, although warm, was comfortable for September. We could walk to several historic sites. The archeological museum was especially well done. The food was varied and uniformly good; we mostly dined outside. We used public transportation (buses) and they were easy to use and a great way to see the city. Many restaurants had easily to understand menus and all the servers were helpful and friendly. Best of all, even though there were lots of tourists, the old city center where we stayed did not feel overrun with tourists.

Valencia is a delight – from its charming cafés and kind locals to must-try dishes like paella, octopus, churros, and horchata. The city also has plenty of specialty coffee spots with great service, and we could still swim in the sea in early October. The Oceanarium with its dolphin show and beluga whales was amazing, and there was even a city festival during that time, which made the experience even better. Getting around was easy – the buses and trams work great; we even went to the beach by bus and tried the hybrid tram-metro once. The city is clean, extremely green, and full of parks right in the middle of its boulevards. I truly fell in love with Valencia.

We went on a walking tour with Zsofi, an excellent guide, knowledgeable and entaining throughout the 2.5 hour tour. We also visited, on our own, the Church of St Nicolas and it's amazing ceiling and light & sound show. The hotel staff recommended two excellent restaurants, the Sagardi tapas bar and the Ouerto del Mar (excellenrt valencian paella)

Charming boutique hotel. Excellently located in the heart of Valencia's old town. The rooms are really comfortable with beautiful interior design. Facilities were great and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to us. We were able to store our luggage and use some facilities at the hotel after checking out as we had a late-night flight. We can't wait to return here and will recommend to all our friends.
