It was 12 euros taxi into Seville Old Town Hotel was very large and a bit shabby on the outside but smart inside. The bar was very inefficiently run. One waiter was actually running up and down. Breakfast was good a good selection. The Town is very spread out and hilly, and unfortunately the pavements are in the worst overall condition that we have seen anywhere in Spain, and are often totally lacking or obstructed by parked cars, causing you to walk at the edge of busy badly lit roads. I knew that being out in the centre for the whole day would have been too much in Sevilla's infamous heat: I chose this hotel because of the outdoor pool and was not disappointed. However, you need yo be aware that there is considerable and noisy construction work going on in the pool area as of June 2025 (but it is still open). Also, our room was huge!
