Very cozy place with a very good beach, restaurants and shops. Nothing historical near the sea (the castle is very far from the beach), but it's a very convenient town for resting. I like small resort city, like Calafell. If you need a rest from your life routine, just some sun and fresh and warm air, tasty food and frendly people, you can choose Calafell! The beach was amazing, large, sandy, clean and not busy at all despite us visiting in July. We stayed on the edge of Calafell so there were not many restaurants nearby, but that was not such a problem for us as we mostly cooked our own meals. Therefore everything is very relaxed, you can find au sheds and together at any time of the day, in the shade or in the sun. Food is varied and good. Staff are polite, friendly and accommodating. Fantastic reception staff and same with chamber maids and restaurant staff. Amazing people. Spacious rooms. Two streets away from beach, shops and restaurants.
