The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The parking lot is around 150 metres further on the road, and it is free.

I loved that the hotel rooms were new, with everything you need and the fact it was very clean. Also there is a nice restaurant where you can eat, with a beautiful garden. The breakfast is very good, with lots of choices for every taste. Will be back for sure!

    We stayed as an alternative to Heidelberg.

    We stayed as an alternative to Heidelberg. We brought bikes with us and cycled to Heidelberg instead. There's a lovely cycle route via Dossenheim through the vineyards which is really pretty and traffic free. Although the hotel is at the very edge of the village and uphill it's not very steep and was easily manageable on the bikes.

    Facilities were good for self-catering. Bakery right across the road. Apartment was comfortable. Two toilets and two bathrooms were appreciated for five adults! Staff was helpful. The streets are narrow and do not allow parking, but there is a free car park nearby for any length of stay. Heidelberg is very close (12km) but Schriesheim is worth exploring - we didn't manage to get to the castle that we could see from the windows!
