From arrival until departure I had a wonderful stay - in fact, even after departure, as I was allowed to leave my rucksack there all day (there being no left-luggage lockers at the station). The (I presume) owner was friendly, kind and helpful; the room was ideal for me and perfectly comfortable; the bathroom - though TINY - had everything and, given the space constraints, was exceptionally well laid out; and in the morning the breakfast was quite simply the best and most imaginative I have ever had, with interesting and exotic homemade preserves, an abundance of fresh, hot bread/rolls, cheeses, hams, good coffee and - as well as the usual good-quality fruit juices - a delicious homemade elderflower drink. All in all, a hotel and a breakfast not to be missed.

Beautifully located in the center of the idyllic village of Wienhausen, right next to the Kloster and the Aller cycling path. Surrounded by a lot of greenery. Very clean buildings/rooms with attention to detail. Super friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. Since the weather was so good, we could have breakfast outdoors.

This is one of the best hotels in Celle. I am a regular visitor there and this is my first choice. I even brought my wife and kids to stay here as I like it so much. Pool in the basement, beautiful restaurant, and cracking breakfast. Just top notch in every aspect, without being over priced or too snooty about it. Highly recommended.
