Munster is a wonderful University /Cathedral town.
Munster is a wonderful University /Cathedral town. Re built after the war it has been restored to its original façade. The old cobbled streets bars and shopping create a relaxing place to explore. There is a good mix of modern and heritage combined with a wealth of history. It is slightly off the beaten track but a visit is well worthwhile. We loved the zoo because kids loved feeding the animals especially the elephant and the parrots. We went last two hours of closing time and we got a discount. The aasee lake was beautiful, spent time on the lake soaking up the sunshine and then went paddling on the boat, family of 5. There were a few halah places which we like Norsee, belchicken, Vivaldi, which was a halah Italian restaurant, great delicious food. Took the public transport everywhere, buses, trains and taxis.
