Beautiful hotel. Wish all hotels looked like this. Friendly and efficient service. Breakfast was great with an amazing spread. Hotel had excellent coffee and an honesty bar. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was beautiful with a lovely showerhead

I had a very late evening check-in and last minute booking due to train delays and Hotel was very accommodating with providing access. Lovely location and room was very welcoming. Wished I could have stayed longer.

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade in order to accommodate our baby cot and arrived late. This was greatly appreciated after 8h drive with a 2y old^^ The property exceeded our expectations, the bed was of an amazing quality and the breakfast had plenty of options. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

    A great place to stay if you're traveling to Freiburg and want to save money or relax in a peaceful neighborhood. I didn’t see any restaurants nearby, but there are buses to Freiburg, and the schedule works well. It’s safe for solo travelers, and about 45 minutes from Freiburg’s center by bus.

    Merdingen is a small village about 15 minutes far from Friburg, therefore it's very quiet so you can sleep very well. There's a nice balcony as well. I could pay cash, just living the money on the table in the room (I just loved the trust placed on the guests by the owners). The owner was very kind. They give some small presents which I really appreciated.
