A good city for shopping trips and the typical restaurants and cafés. A very pleasant, small city and seaport in East Frisia. Of particular interest are the Ostfriesisches Landesmuseum (Brückstraße 1), with detailed local history, and the Kunsthalle (Hinter dem Rahmen 13), with paintings by the German Expressionists and an interesting exhibition on research into the provenance of paintings in the Nannen collection, which forms a large part of the museum's holdings.Guest review byNeil_SpringateUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I stayed many times in many B&B Hotels in different cities(Hamburg, Regensburg, Ingolstadt, Passau, Weil am Rhein/Basel, Landshut, Rosenheim, München-Messe) and it was the same every time. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and it is always very clean. And quiet. And the staff was always very kind. Perfect!
