Very nice cabins, lots of privacy, good silent airco, great swimming pool with view of eagles and monkeys, love that there are only a small number of people on the property. Best food we ate in the area. Beautiful beach close by.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. First things first; the staff here are friendly, welcoming and always ready to assist - with a smile! They truly made me feel so welcome and they are all small rays of sunshine to brighten your day!! My room had everything I needed with a nice patio overlooking the pool - perfect for catching up on work. Internet was fast and had no issues the whole time I was there and breakfast is delicious and made at your leisure. The bed is comfy and the small beach area next to the pool is great for an afternoon snooze.

Best kept hotel I have ever been at - the whole staff works hard and it shows! The entire place was spotless (would have eaten off of the floor). Staff were all very kind. Really appreciated the ambiant sounds played near the pool - we felt like we were staying at a spa, which was very relaxing. If you want to stay in an oasis of calm in the heart of the bustling city of Tamarindo - I highly recommend this hotel! Bonus: spotting monkeys a few meters away when eating breakfast.

    Tamarindo is amazing.

    Tamarindo is amazing. Villarreal is a small local town nearby. The construction and yard cleaning machines make any stay in these areas a bit noisy. Overlook the noise and commotion and crowds and the area is really fun.
