Unusual and lovely modern property. Very clean with exceptional breakfast. Beds were comfy. Hotel was a short stroll into the centre and we could see parrots (or Macaw’s) in the trees opposite as we were facing the road. Giselle and her team were exceptional and very kind. Only stayed one night but would happily have stayed another if we were spending more time in Jaco.

What a paradise we discovered WOW !Just a absolutely gorgeous property! The staff is amazing , I notice they all work together, and that's why it works so well ! The owner, Mark, is a hands-on guy. You may find him up a ladder folding towels and greeting guests ! He works very hard to make your experience the best it can be ! It's easy to see ! Breakfast was such a nice touch , and yummy 😋 I can't say enough about the staff , their kind, very welcoming, and so helpful !We stayed in the beautiful 3 bedroom Tucan suite, which was just perfect ! Seeing as we were 2 friends,traveling together, it worked perfectly for us ! Do yourself a favor when you find yourself in Costa Rica again . Check out Mark's place ! I also admire Mark for taking that huge step of leaving Florida to open a beautiful place in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 it all sounds good and fun, but let's face it takes guts !! I will always support people who take chances and toss everything to the universe and look what you get sometimes !!! The location and the staff are amazing! This was the place where we felt more the local vibe. It is comfortable though a bit aged, but the staff is so nice that we were really happy there! You just cross the road and have a perfect beach, with a nice peak to surf. The restaurant has wonderful food, very diversified, very tasty and the staff is the best! Really the best! Super friendly, always with a smile! We loved it there!

    I go there to do dental work at Crystal Dental, as their prices are 2-3 times cheaper than in the USA and the quality is better, they speak English and have German equipment. I do not care about touristy stuff, I did it on my first visit many years ago. You can take buses for daytrips. Tours with agencies are very expensive and geared for young athletic people. I wish there was a sightseeing tour for the whole day on a bus to take pictures without any hiking or horse-riding.

    Jaco is fine, the beach at playa blanca is the best in the area. But you have to access it by going to the other beach and walking up the hill past the public parking or to tbe beach and then left down to the curve and then over the small hill.

    During the last Costa Rican rainy season, the beach was ravaged by strong storms. a large portion of sand was washed away leaving exposed rock over much of the beach. My photos reveal that about four feet of sand was washed away. My time there was a bit disappointing, but I believe nature or people will restore the beach to its former glory.

    Good value at Beach Break Resort Oceanfront room.

    Good value at Beach Break Resort Oceanfront room. Good lunch special at the Japanese Restaraunt next to the bus station. The sewage and grey water from the town run into a creek next to the resort which flows into the Ocean so you are swimming in your own 'stew'.

    Loved the balcony and the pool Also loved that the owner and property manager were ultra responsive The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need and simple easy to understand check in instructions Great sunsets off the balcony and entertaining beach scenes with surfers, horses, happy people

    Jaco by itself is a nice place for vacationing.

    Jaco by itself is a nice place for vacationing. The beach is good and a lot of beaches nearby. Its proximity to Manuel Antonio and other places in the north are a big plus. The downtown is buzzing with lot of restaurants and ice cream shops. We walked along the downtown in the evening.

    Really nice hotel just outside of the main town of Jaco - within a 10 minute drive to the restaurants and the main attractions. The staff member who originally checked us in when we were early and served breakfast was very friendly and welcoming. The staff member showing us around the room felt a bit like hiring a car where he was showing you all the damage and that you would be charged for replacements or further damage caused to the room (something ive never experienced before!)

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent with only a short walk to the beach. It is a smaller Hotel so there is no sense of loud noise from to many people. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping was done very well. The pool is very nice. The bar next to the pool is very convenient. The Hotel arranged for us to have great transport to and from the San Jose Airport. A great value compared to other larger places in Jaco.

    Beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment with everything you need, with a sea view. The owners are very friendly, kind people, they provided us with a lot of information. All the facilites of the Hotel are available, very good pool, delicious food, friendly prices. The ocean beach is clean and beautiful, the city is also within walking distance. One of the best accomodations, we had in Costa Rica! Thank you Dorel and Carmen!

    We had a very large room with a nice view of the beautiful pool art and jungle and the bathroom had a tub and double sinks, much less common for hotels in CR. The AC worked well. The property is deep and sits you well away from the noise of Jaco or the highway and it feels like you are in a jungle lodge. The included breakfast was tasty and the staff we encountered were very friendly.
