This was a great location for remote workers. They have the fastest internet in the area due to the high altitude location, they receive a good signal from the satellite wifi. The view was amazing. The family, cooked professionally prepared meals. Even with the remote location, they receive fresh ingredients weekly while other hotels in the area receive ingredients with less frequency. I really recommend this stay to anyone who wants a chill private experience!

Beautiful place, simple but with charm. Nice pool and great views for sunset, restaurant is very nice and staff is very attentive. The morning yoga class with lily was energizing. Overall a great experience

Sol de Minca is a very special place, words won’t be able to describe. Each accommodation is hand made with so much love. If you like doing yoga, there is a beautiful studio to practice, just make sure to book the room upstairs. The food is really good and the cacao with homemade coconut milk is the best I had in Minca. The breakfast is very special with 3 different little juices, so cute. I really like the yuca pizza and the crazy Kranti.

[Birder review] We were lucky that the "colibrí" room had in front of it a tree full of ripe berries, so over 2 mornings, we were able to observe from the balcony at 6am while wearing pajamas, at a 4 to 8 meters distance: Keel-billed Toucan, Black-chested Jay, Swallow Tanager, Crimson-backed Tanager, Summer Tanager, Scarlet Tanager, Crested Oropendola, Crimson-crested Woodpecker, Black-crowned Tityra, Masked Tityra, Red-crowned Woodpecker, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Prothonotary Warbler, Thick-billed Euphonia, Dusky capped flycatcher, Baltimore Oriole, Orange-crowned Oriole, Chestnut-capped Warbler, Squirrel Cuckoo, Streaked Saltator, Red-legged Honeycreeper, Tropical Parula, Tennessee Warbler, and Scaled Pigeon. Overall I'd say this is the right place for a birder to stay at Minca. The rooms are surrounded by native forest, lots of birds, and still the place is close enough to town to still be convenient. For the hard endemics, seek day tours to "El Campano/Los Pinos" and "Cerro Kennedy".

Remote but beautiful location in the middle of the jungle. The (very clean) river is directly in front of the rooms and perfect for a refreshment. Jorge is an amazing host that is always there for any question you have or support you need. The food also deserves mentioning it was absolutely amazing! Perfect for some relaxing days.

I'm surprised at the lower rating or this magical place - it is a bit pricey but it's not just accomadation it's the entire experience of walking up and going to sleep in a forest and it's truly unique. Excelent food - had a best cake here in the entire trip and menu, great yoga (included in stay), very friendly staff -Andres in particular. Would love to come back
