United StatesThe hostel is fairly close to the airport. The staff was very kind to pick us up at 1 am when our flight arrived. We had business in Kunming so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer and enjoy the lovely guest house and location. They will take you back to the airport from where it is easy to catch the subway or highway bus into Kunming.
Above all, it is not a "box" hotel!
