    The prices are much more reasonable than in Zermatt, and it is practically the last village you can reach by car. So in my opinion it is very good to sleep in Täsch and travel by train to Zermatt. The trains are every 20 minutes.

    Great option for being affordable if wanting to visit...

    Great option for being affordable if wanting to visit Zermatt. A trains runs between the two cities every 20 minutes which makes travel easy. Not much in Täsch in terms of shopping/restaurants so keep that in mind before leaving Zermatt.

    Täsch turned out to be much bigger than we first expected!

    Täsch turned out to be much bigger than we first expected! It’s a very cute little town with a great location—just 12 minutes by train from Zermatt. A lovely and convenient place to stay if you're exploring the area.

    The accommodation had everything we needed including laundry...

    The accommodation had everything we needed including laundry facilities. The hosts were lovely. If walking to Tasch to catch the train to Zermatt with your own skis and boots it is quite a way especially when coming home after skiing at night.

    It was very nice, but we didn't spend much time there.

    It was very nice, but we didn't spend much time there. Our main goal was to get to Zermatt and see the Matterhorn which was fogged in 30 years ago when we last visited. The train station was very nice and clean. It was easy to purchase the tickets on the machines provided.

    Tasch is the car parking and coach drop point for Zermatt, has a couple of nice restaurants slightly cheaper than Zermatt. Has a train station coffee and convenience store.. As well as a couple of small supermarkets, though Zermatt's Co-op is better. Good place to stay at the camp-site or a short stay into Zermatt,

    Got breakfast included during our stay and it was the usual European breakfast (bread, cereals, and yogurt etc). It was okay for its price. The room was not too small and not too big, just right for 2-3 people. What I loved about the room is the breathtaking view of the alps!! And the hotel is just a few steps away from the Tasch train station which is just one stop away from Zermatt so it's VERY VERY convenient!

    Beautiful hotel near the Tasch Terminal station. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a view of the mountains and river. Friendly staffs. Good breakfast. Free underground parking. It was one of our many previous visits to Tasch and we tried different accommodations , but this was one of the best. Will come back here next time!!

    It was a very nice and big hotel. It is very close to the train station to go to Zermatt (next to the train station), but you haven't got any extra noise of the trains. The room was very big and clean. I can't complain about anything!
