Newly opened, beautifully decorated, air conditioned bedrooms, great facilities, family-run and extremely friendly. Set on the banks of Lake Lugano, the terrace, where you have breakfast/ drinks has amazing views across the lake. The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!

Everything was perfectly designed and well thought out from the modern architecture and interiors to the small gardens and the excellent breakfast. Very comfortable and quiet, with great value for money. The croissants and bread were outstanding! Location is also a big plus: close to the city center, the lake and, above all, the train station. Amazing experience! After a long day of hiking we arrived in the cute village of Miglieglia and got immediately enchanted by the Casa San Stefano and it's very welcoming invite. Old, historical building. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and received an upgrade of the room we had booked. Authentic, well-decorated interior. After a very peaceful night, we enjoyed the amazing breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients and plenty of choice. Would i recommend the place? Definitely!
