I have had a perfect stay here. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Beatiful surroundings. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Good connection to Lucerne City centre and to Mt. Pilatus cable car. Very friendly and attentive staff and hotel manager.

Wonderful hotel at an exceptional location directly at the lake shore, and while on the outskirts of Lucerne with a frequent bus connection that takes one to the center in about 10 minutes, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. THe Waldhotel in the resort is an amazing place. Astonishing views and incredible room size. The breakfast was something unique, and you have the opportunity to eat with a unique view of the mountains. I went with my spouse and we get engage there, the experience was amazing because they prepared everything for us, and they were really nice and they were in top of us every step of the preparation.

    It was nice to be out of the city.

    It was nice to be out of the city. It was a very easy and short bus trip up the mountain right on Lake Lucerne. We wish we had brought swimsuits. Lake Lucerne is so clean and beautiful. A perfect place to relax after a long day of sight-seeing.

    What a lovely hotel this was, very friendly & helpful staff members, room was very clean & comfortable. Excellent shower, amazing views from our room & 1st class breakfast.. location is in a quiet village just a bus ride away from the main tourist areas.     Lovely staff. Loads of car parking just across from hotel. There was a bus stop right beside hotel that brought you into centre of lucern. It was free with visitor pass. Lovely selection of food for breakfast.

    Fantastic breakfast. Lots of choice. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Free transport into Lucerne a bonus. Buses were frequent, with the bus stop just opposite the hotel.
