This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.Guest review byRamon

We stayed for part of our honeymoon, I had been so excited to stay somewhere with such incredible views and it did not disappoint! The apartment is modern,clean with a rustic charm. The view is breathtaking. Larissa, Beat and the whole family were welcoming and so friendly! (Including the cats!) We would 100% stay again. Parking is great- under a carport so very safe. Hergiswil is a great place to stay near Lucerne especially if driving. Our stay was a highlight of the whole honeymoon.Guest review byJosieUnited Kingdom

My room is 237 which is the same as advertised, but another room 235 is much smaller, the view is not that good, no sofa. The room 235 does not meet our expection, but it is charged at the same price. I can say it's unfair to us. The lunch and dinner at the hotel restuarant are superb.
