The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

Exceptional value for money in Switzerland Excellent communication re self check in. I was lucky enough to be given such a lovely room with a balcony and view of the castle. I absolutely loved how effortlessly reachable this place is—just a 15‑minute walk from Visp train station through a charming little town that feels straight out of a postcard. Our room with two separate beds perfect for friends or family traveling together. The simple, warm décor gave it that “at home” vibe, and our balcony overlooking the garden quickly became my favorite spot. Everything—from the soft, warm lighting to the spotless shower—felt pristinely maintained.
