Everything was very clean and organized. We had a late flight that came in at 1am and they offered us late check out (which was free of charge). The rooms were very spacious and weren’t expensive at all for one night. Even with shuttle service, the staff was very accommodating with offering ubers or taxi due to the shuttle not being available at that time. They allowed us to stay in the lobby until the shuttle was ready due to us having a very late flight. Overall very accommodating and pleasant experience. Everyone was nice, everything was clean. Kutuma Hotel staff were more than helpful in aiding us in getting to the hotel itself from the airport with good advice on transportation services. They were also extremely helpful in waiting for us upon our arrival and getting our bags to our rooms. The service that we received at this hotel was far superior to many of the high end, more expensive hotels that we have experienced in the past. On top of all of this, the staff were remarkably friendly with greetings or attending to any needs. For the hotel itself, everything was comfortable, clean and in excellent working order. The Blue Nile (on-site hotel) has great food that is reasonably priced for the quantity that you get.

FAQs about hotels in Montreal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.

From there, the metro will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the historic quarter and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St. Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t good enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

Montreal Old Port area is comparable to Quebec City Old town. When it comes to tourist attractions combine with shopping and entertainment and easy availability of variety of meal options (Western, Asian, Middle Eastern ect), Montreal wins compared to the other Canadian cities.

We did a lot in the short time we were there.

We did a lot in the short time we were there. Catching a ship for a cruise to Boston and spent a few days beforehand seeing the sights of Montreal. The only place I did not enjoy was the trip to Montmorency Falls as in September water flow was not so great so very underwhelming. I'm sure when water was flowing the falls would have been amazing.

Best city in Canada forrestaurants, attractions.Traffic on Metropolitain is out of control. When speed limit is 70km per hr, I do 80 km per hr. Others go 100+ km per hr. When speed limit is 100 km per hr, others go 130+ km per hr, No police anywhere enforcing speed limit - day or night. Metropolitain is a death trap. I witnessed accidents in both directions. Very frightening.

We used Montreal, as a base.

We used Montreal, as a base. We are not normally city people, But I must say that our visit was lovely.. We visited the Parc Jean-Drapeau, The Botanical Gardens and also we went to Mount Royal which was just behind our accommodation. The people in the city were very helpful, and very friendly, especially when we tried to use the public transport. We also took a day trip to Quebec, there was several companies that offered this...Tourist information was also very helpful...

Hotel has the best location bec of the proximity to the tourist spots like Notre Dame, Old Port Montreal, St Catherine Street, Chinatown, etc. Also, the Airport bus 747 will stop just close to the hotel. Its very walkable that we could just go keep going back the European Vibes spots.Across is also a grocery and a shopping mall. There's breakfast too, the price of hotel is fair enough. I would be staying here again when I come back visit MTL💗. Thank you.

The location of this hotel is great. 5 Mins walk to Apple on St. Catherine. We have been coming to this hotel for almost 5 years now. My wife's family stays in Terrebone so whenever we feel like visiting Montreal Downtown we chose St-Martin. The rooms with fireplace in them are elegant and exactly what we like. Also they frequent discounts for Genius Level 3 members on booking.com which is great.

Good location in relation to downtown Montreal. The room was small (with the shower cubicle next to the bed) but it provided all of the facilities we needed. Would suggest checking the layout of your room depending on who you are travelling with. We didn’t actually meet anybody from the hotel as all correspondence is made via text/email but this ran smoothly.
