Charming city, so much to see and do. I love a bargain and there were bargains everywhere! Lots of great food and entertainment. People were very friendly and helpful. You can Uber for almost nothing here, although don't expect air conditioning in most of the cars. I highly recommend doing one of the boat cruises and anything you want to do you can get a better price online. Ask around before you do things, there are so many hidden treasures and such amazing food!! I love Cabo Frio and will definitely return!Guest review byWhiteUnited States - 8.0

Nice shops nearby lots places to eat very good food , good prices. My hotel was very good lovely staff. The town beach is beautiful however quite dirty sand wouldn't walk around without a good beach shoes. Lots of broken glass bottles. However the boat trips take u to some magnificent clean beaches like paradise worth to visit. Couldn't find a boat trip without loud music...I would prefer quietness. The main atraction are the beaches. White sand, sunny days and very calm water. Another thing to do, almost a "must" is spending a couple of hours on board of a catamaran to see the city from a distance and enjoy the view of magnificent houses and yachts, not to mention the colour of the sea.Guest review byDavidBrazil

This was a beautiful suite, recently refurbished with everything you need. Stephanie and Eduardo (and Luiza) made a tremendous effort to make me feel comfortable (despite the language barrier) and show me around Cabo Frio and Arrial do Cabo. I got to ride in a buggy, use their surfboards and try some Brazilian home cooking. I felt so welcome, and had the most magical time. The good news first: The hotel is beautifully situated right on the beach. We had a great room with large windows overlooking the sea. It's a nice middle-class family hotel.
