We were looking for a quiet, relaxed getaway by the seaside, and we got even more! This was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve travelled the world, from Asia to the Caribbean. I loved the intimate atmosphere combined with a luxurious feel, enhanced by the natural, boho boutique–style interior. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the decorative pillows to the staff uniforms. The staff were super nice and you could feel they truly understood and embraced the concept of this hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, with dinners served à la carte and a different theme each evening. We enjoyed live music on Wednesday, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe. The beach, just below the hotel, offered comfortable beach beds and attentive lifeguards. The restaurant and pool both boasted stunning views, and our room treated us to breathtaking sunrises. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by an extra night. We were also among the few foreign guests, which made our experience even more special. It was an authentic Bulgarian stay, yet delivered with a global level of hospitality and comfort. This place is truly a hidden gem — cherished by locals and a delightful discovery for travellers.

The House steak bar and grill Tonus Sebastopol andl Dukov are out favourite places to eat Amphora cafe is not to be missed run by a beautiful family and have the best cakes in Obzor.

    Great resort, it was first time coming here and it was surprisingly good. People are nice, the surroundings are very good, great restaurants, and vacation vibe all over. Not a noisy clubbing destination but there are many areas in the center where youth can enjoy.

    We have been going to Obzor for the last 20 years as we live...

    We have been going to Obzor for the last 20 years as we live 2 hours away, and this summer the food was HORRIBLE everywhere, as well as the service. Also very overpriced. Not sure what has happened, but will not return for a while.

    The staff is polite and friendly.

    The staff is polite and friendly. The room, hallways, bars, swimming pool deck area, and beach are pretty clean. Food in a restaurant is delicious and diverse. Non-alcohol and alcohol drinks are available in many locations. Disliked · Wi-fi is working only close to the front desk and lobby. We had a room at the end of the building and the wifi signal there was poor. We have requested the front desk for technical support but with zero effect. Also, visitors need to pay for some services which are usually included in the room price such as a key for a locker for storage of cash and documents. It is important because almost all stores and gift shop bakeries are accepting cash only. So, be ready to pay the extra fee to the declared price for the room. The official rate for a taxi ride in Obzor is three times higher than in Varna.

    Not the most engaging resort.

    Not the most engaging resort. Very few restaurants, many of those closed anyway, either not yet open for the season or gone out of business. Very clean streets, even the wheely bins have their own lock ups!! Geared up more I think for the all inclusive hotels, but there are many small hotels too. The beach is long, sandy and the sea quite shallow, so should be safe for children. The North end is where the large hotels are, access to the roads from the beach is restricted by security. One thing to avoid or perhaps more accurately one person, Ivan the taxi driver, doesn't know his way around, or if he does, he pretends not to, so he can drive around running up the bill. Avoid!!

    Obzor is very pretty, lots of shops, bars and restaurants with central seating area, parks and water fountains, speak Bulgarian, English and some German , has 3 beaches which are all accessible , very friendly and clean

    All food was fresh.You have a large variety of food. The staff is very welcoming. The beach is in front of the hotel so this is a big advantage. Good to know: there is a free beach area and a private area with shezlongs but you have to pay for it. Also, you don'y have free parking but there is a local parking in front of the hotel or hotel parking. I took the second one but I recommend the local parking. It's half price and it's in front of the hotel.

    The location of the hotel is amazing. We like the pools, especially the kids pool. There is also a lot of entertainment for kids and adults. We liked the band that was performing at the night on the stage between the pools. They have plenty of cocktails and drinks at the bar. We loved the view from our balcony.

    the location is on the beach. there is a store and 3 restaurants, 5 pools. Animation for the children and different games at the reception. Spacious rooms with kitchen. There is one warm water pool at min 25 degrees Celsius. Obzor is at 15 min walk.

    Spacious, perfect view from balcony, good furniture, calm location, nice atmosphere in hotel. Very good pools and sunbeds downstairs. All small things like paper kitchen towels where provided. Will definitely repeat if coming again to Bulgaria.
