Super beautiful, picturesque place. It’s on the countryside; once inside this beautiful old building with its serene garden with pool area, you almost forget the B&B is actually located inside a small town center with all amenities nearby. Well worth a detour!

Hospitality, kindness, breakfast, location, house&garden.. everything was just so great. You can feel the peace while you stay. There is a really lovely pool which we couldn't swim because of the weather but it would be the really great to swim in there which covered by fully green garden and trees. I highly recommended!! Fantastic location. Super peaceful place to stay with a lovely room and friendly hosts. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic area for sightseeing and cycling. Amazing breakfast too, We will certainly be staying here again.

Simply the best for a (romantic) getaway. The host Mrs Ira is very enthusiastic and passionate about her BNB. She lives her place with heart and soul. You have a standalone house in the garden (BEAUTIFULL GARDEN), with acces to the parking, the garden and the pool and poolhouse. The breakfast is "hors du commun". We are totally in love with this place.

    We chose to stay here for a 2 night rest during our busy European vacation. Kim welcomed us with her cheery personality and was very helpful throughout our stay. The property is a true gem & our garden room beside the pool very spacious & well appointed. Breakfast a delight. We walked across the road to 2 excellent restaurants. We relaxed in the beautiful garden with the gentle sounds from the pond and the birds. Highly recommended.

    Balen itself is not very special to visit, but there are some places around Balen that is worthy to visit like for swimming the lake "Zilvermeer", of to bike/hike the forest in "Bosland".
