Very friendly staff at the reception. Especially two male receptionists. I don't remember his name but he said he's originally from Sri Lanka. He was always helpful with everything. Like ordering taxi for my 3 conferences, organising portable heater on wheels because the heating in the room didn't work. Also when I arrived at the Ibis hotel i waited around an hour and from travelling of 21 hours in the plane i was falling asleep and he gave me the room faster than 2 pm. If i need to know about directions to Indian restaurant or supermarket etc etc they were always answering and guiding without any problems and always with a smile on the face. Room very clean, too. Nice hot breakfast, when ordered the day before cost 20 dollars. There's fridge, kettle with tea bags and coffee, iron, hairdryer in the room. I really recommend the Ibis hotel to anyone who needs to stay in Melbourne. I know myself I will stay again if I'll need to come to Melbourne in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Skygarden service apartment in Glen Waverley, Melbourne, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The location is fantastic, situated right next to The Glen shopping mall, which makes shopping and dining extremely convenient. It's also within walking distance to the train station and bus terminal, making it easy to explore the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the numerous food options available nearby, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. As I had rented a car, I appreciated the private parking area, which was not only secure but also free of charge. Albert was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. His warm and attentive service truly made a difference, ensuring that our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Overall, my stay at Skygarden was delightful, and I will definitely choose this service apartment again for my next visit to Melbourne. Highly recommended!

The convenience of the location simply can't be matched, only mere meters from the train station, bus depot, a major mall, and major shopping center. Even living in the Glen Waverley area for over 30 years, I still found things to discover living at the IKON for a short spell. Facilities were wonderful, the shower strong, the bed comfortable, kitchen fully featured, there's little more to ask for. The host is very accommodating and very responsive.. we have already rebooked for our next trip.

    We walked over to the shopping centre. and plenty of places and choice of eateries Can also cook in your apartment as supermarkets in the centre. Warmer weather lovely balcony with views. Close to the train line. Can go to the city with out driving.

    Local Service Station with resident Food Truck 1 block away. Local shops 2 blocks away included IGA (with Bottle Shop), Take Away food shop. Town centre 15-20 minutes walk away. Local Hotel (Mountain View) opposite corner to Town Centre. Hotel very noisy (piped music too loud) & only stopped for 1 drink.

    Hotel was perfect for the price, close to main shopping...

    Hotel was perfect for the price, close to main shopping center and transport, our room was on level one and the stairs were a little difficult when carrying our small luggage case, our room the spa didn't work, but overall the Hotel was worth our stay, staff were pleasant and helpful.

    We had a very pleasant stay at the Novatel. Mannoj was an excellent ambassador for the Novatel Glen Waverley. Really nice bloke to deal with. The rest of the staff were very good too, room was great, breakfast was excellent.

    We stayed 1 night in Glen Waverley to attend the Alfa Romeo...

    We stayed 1 night in Glen Waverley to attend the Alfa Romeo Spettacollo car show. Glen Waverley is a far-Eastern suburb of Melbourne. It is mainly a residential suburb. We had dinner at The Village Green Hotel in one of their function rooms. The food there was good. We stayed at Waverley International Hotel, which was more like a motel than an International hotel. It was quite old and could do with a freshen up on the outside. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Alfa Romeo Spettacollo was great, even though it rained all day. Hundreds of very beautiful old and new Alfas were on display.
