We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

Nice cosy family hotel with nice room, sauna. But the touch are owners which are really nice and you feel cosy and welcomed. They can give you also good advice where to go, what are best options based on wheather. And at the end the dog at reception is really cute and funny.

    Amazing place in very quiet and nice small town in the heart of Austrian Alps. We were there 4 person family for 3 days for skiing during xmass break. There is only 15 minutes to Molltaler and Ankogel lifts. There are shops and few restaurants in Obervellach so we were able to buy food and drinks. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The owner of the apartment welcomed us first day warmly, explained everything and wished us good stay. We had wonderful time in Obervellach and on the Alpine slopes.

    We were there for the 4th time and as usual everything was perfect. We were there during Easter and the host was so kind to surprise us with chocolate bunnies and eggs for kids and bottle of wine from their winery. As the apartment is located on the top of the hill, you have excellent view down to the valley. If you are in obervellach with kids, don't forget to stop in Motorik park and pools.

    Definitely recommend the Lenz apartment 👍 very nice host, the apartment is huge and clean with new equipment and comfortable beds, warm inside, free parking, free wifi, beautiful view from the terrace. Obervellach is situated between two ski resorts. Everything was perfect 😊

    I really liked the room. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay and cooking. The hotel is located near the route to the waterfall. There is a cafe nearby. Supermarkets are 1.5 km away, bus stop is 1 km away. We had a very good rest! Thank you for the comfort!
