We have arrived late in the evening and although a misunderstanding was made on room reservation, reception staff was very helpful in sorting out the problem. We switched the room the next day and everything was excellent. The hotel is quite new, with very nice and large and comfortable rooms. We have an infrared cabin in our room that we used every day after being on the ski slopes. We did travel with a small dog and staff was very friendly and helpful to accommodate the pet and daily room housekeeping. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection for all tastes. Hotel has Venetia Restaurant on ground floor, which was very convenient for dinning out or order some pizza if too tired after a day of skiing. Free parking on location

We stayed 5 nights. The staff were very kind and helpful. My daughter has gluten allergy and they provided gluten free bread and the lady who was the chef, prepared gluten free food for her, which was very tasty. The breakfast buffet had a variety and was filling including vegetables and fruit. Our room was comfortable and very clean and had a very nice view of the mountains. The dining room had an exceptional view of the mountains. Bus stops, ski hire and the car cable to the mountain are only 100 meters from the hotel, which is excellent. All in all we had a very nice time and we will definitely go back.

A lovely boutique hotel managed by its owners who are very welcoming. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms were spacious, not to mention the great interior. We were welcomed with great coffee at the pool area that overlooks the village greenery

    Excellent little town in the most stunning area with super friendly people and great options for multiple activities such as hiking, stand-up paddling, sailing, playing tennis, swimming, sunbathing, playing golf or mini golf, riding bikes or taking the ferry or local tram to explore the area! There are great restaurants as well, where every wish of yours is easily fulfilled! We absolutely loved it and will come back for sure!

    The woman on reception who also managed the breakfast was very friendly, helpful and kind. We stayed in various places in Austria on our holiday and the welcome at Garni das Sonnalp was the best of them all. We really liked the breakfast and the location. We liked the lounge and the honesty fridge. We didnt use the spa facilities but they looked good. We liked the easy check-in with the self-service collection for keys. They kindly let us store our luggage at the hotel for a day. With some small changes, we would stay again.

    The location was very good. The local buses were very close, cogwheel train, ferry, gondola and supermarket were in walking distance. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Dinner portions were very generous and very good. The room was spacious, but offered views into other hotel rooms although the blinds were nice.

    Location is excellent being central and the local bus stop is quite near. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection. Bar food was good also. Decor is unusual but the room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. We would be happy to return to this hotel.

    Good-sized bedroom, nice breakfast. Hotel is a short drive from beautiful Lake Achensee and the discount card provided gratis by the hotel enabled us to get a good reduction on the cost of a boat trip around the lake
