The 180 degree view from the Gasthof Maria Plain hotel terrace, and from the balcony of room #20 which we had, captures sweeping pastoral greenery in the foreground, behind which is the city of Salzburg with the iconic fortress on the berg, back-dropped by the soaring Austrian Alps.     the most beautiful little boutique hotel. not so little though. the room is sooo spacious, bathroom is spacious, and the view is fan-tastic. they set up a little seating corner at the end of the hallway at my floor and it was the prettiest thing. the road up to the hotel a little narrow and dark if you drive in the middle of the night.

    The hotel is located in a wonderful place with nice views around and Maria Plain church nearby. Fantastic place where to stay for a couple of nights and enjoy the surroundings.
