What I liked best is the location in a valley next to a river with forest all around. Brian's Mum is a great cook! Brian was very helpful with precise directions for getting there, great recommendations for day trips and how to arrange next steps for our journey onwards. It was such a pleasure to stay there!

The Villa is beautifully designed and the room is so big. Mountain view is astounding. Breakfast is more than excellent. So much effort has been made to ensure breakfast menu is different on each of our three days' stay. Staff were extremely helpful. We were grateful to meet the Villa's owner who was so kind in helping us locate our next homestay in the neighbourhood and drove us there after we checked out. We will definitely stay here should we come to Lalashan again. Truly heavenly stay.

Next to a beautiful river, in the middle of nature - we fell asleep to the sounds of the waterfall. The hosts were lovely, gave us a heartfelt welcome and took care of all our needs. They are part of the taiwanese indigenous people called Atayal, and love music. The room was spacious and comfortable.
