Cabanaconde can be reached in 3 hours, by foot, horse or mule only. Owners extremely attentive to care and very nice, the food is amazing, and rooms are clean (not sure why we read the opposite on some reviews - I think two hotels are called the same), great stay!

Rooms are built on Andean terraces, surrounded by gardens and camping areas. The wooden cabins blend harmoniously with the environment and offer both private and shared bathroom options, hot water, and an on-site restaurant with a bar. The food was very nice, and we loved the hot springs!
