Casa Austera es comodísimo para pasar el tiempo en el paredón. Lejos del bullicio de otros party hostels es un lugar lindo y chill dónde conocer viajeros interesantes y buena onda. Y la cocina es la mejor cocina 10/10. Internet muy bueno

El enclave de este lugar es ideal para estar en la naturaleza y acceso directo a la laguna. En verdad merece una parada de más de una noche. Cercano al pueblo de Bacalar con una oferta sencilla y disfrutona. Las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas, también muy limpias cosa que se agradece cuando estás en lugares refugiados en casi la selva. El baño es un lujo, al aire libre. Desayuno rico. Servicio impecable.

Pucté 13 se encuentra en Bacalar y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al lago. Hay un baño privado totalmente equipado con ducha y artículos de aseo gratuitos. Las cabañas eran bellísimas. Estela y Mario nos recibieron espectacular y nos hicieron sentir muy a gusto, siempre con buenas recomendaciones. Nos encantó el lugar.

Casa Maya está a pocos pasos de Playa de la ribera del río Dulce y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, zona de playa privada y bar. Se ofrece wifi gratis. The family that runs the hotel is absolutely exceptional. Extremely kind and they treat you like you’re a part of the family. I was really lucky to not have many other people during my stay. The tables in the rooms is a winner for me, not many places have that and I really needed it. The WiFi is really good and I could work with no issues. You’ll need to lay everywhere with cash. The shower in the dorms is interesting, let’s say you’ll have a view right at the nature :) the water in the shower is really refreshing which is actually really good excuse it’s really hot there during the day. the forest area could use some cleaning or more organized wilderness but still awesome place. I was really surprised that there were almost no mosquitos. When you’re there definitely tent the kayak! And omg Marta’s food is freaking amazing!!! Definitely order topas (pricey but delicious!!!)

I really can’t say enough about Marcela and her staff. From working with me on a mistaken booking date to rescuing us in a storm when our rental car got stuck in the mud on the way to a waterfall. Eva and another staff member brought us back the next morning in a large 4x4 truck and we were able to pull the SUV out of the mud with a tow strap. Thank you!!!

El Caribbean Beach Cabanas, situado en Placencia, solo admite adultos y ofrece una zona de playa privada y bicicletas gratuitas. This was our first "luxury" stay we've ever had, and we loved it. The room was very clean and set up nicely for us upon arrival. When we first got there, we were offered a drink and they got us checked in quickly then showed us to our room. They gave a brief overview of the room and everything available. During our stay, it was our nice little retreat when we got overwhelmed/tired from exploring, which we did a lot. The bartender was awesome and nice to chat with. The rest of the staff was fantastic as well. Not once did we feel like we weren't welcome there. Hopefully we can be back some day.
