We had a small issue with the shower and after calling the owners they came to fix it asap. The breakfast was lovely, freshly brewed coffee, there were many options and good quality products. They even provide us with oat milk even though it was a last minute request. The owners were very friendly.

A wonderful little shop about 50 metres away with basic supermarket essentials and wonderful homemade meals. The owners were very quick to answer questions or offer recommendations. This recently renovated chalet is located 3.3 km from St Mary's Cathedral and 5.4 km from Muckross Abbey. The chalet has private entrance. The cottage is new and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed to prepare simple meals, the location is wonderful and it was very nice and private. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Peter met us at the house and showed us around. He and his wife had left treats and a bottle of wine for us; he was very kind and said he'd be available if we needed him. The house was perfect for us. Each child got a room with a comfortable bed and bathroom, and we took the large bedroom/bath upstairs. We all had lots of room for our clothing and luggage, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. After 2 1/2 weeks of traveling around Ireland, it was the first time we had access to a blender and air fryer! My daughter and husband got sick about halfway through our stay until after left. We were so grateful that they had such a comfortable place to hang out during the day. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful for my daughter when her stomach was upset. We were also so grateful for a washer and dryer (many places in Ireland said they had a dryer but it turned out to be a drying rack). Town was very close (5 min), though I followed Google the first night to get my family some medicine and ended up on a dirt road going way out of the way. Because of two members being sick, we didn't get to explore Kenmare as much as we'd hoped, but when we drove through a couple times, it looked like such a fun and charming town. We spent a lot of time in and around Killarney and found that charming as well.
