First of all, the community where the place is located is super safe—just like a typical village with chickens freely wondering around. I stopped locking my door the day after I arrived, once I realized how calm and peaceful it was. As a solo female traveler I value safety very much. Satori is located closer/deeper to the jungle so it is even calmer, and you can start your hike right at the gate. Sometimes monkeys would come to the site and I could watch them while having my breakfast/lunch. Secondly, I was amazed by the owner, a true animal lover and sustainability enthusiast. They handled everything themselves—gardening, improving the land, and preparing delicious breakfasts. Communication was easy. From the moment I made the booking, they provided a ton of useful information—like the boat schedule and more. I asked, and they arranged boat tickets and guided tours for me. Keep in mind, I don’t speak any Spanish! By the end of my stay, it felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. Amazing people. The cabin was clean, equipped with a comfortable bed and mosquito net, fan, shelves and electrical outlets. When I wasn't hiking or touring, I enjoyed relaxing in my hammock outside the cabin. They also have decent Wi-Fi. There was a road construction down the road (village part), so I needed to detour (around 5 min walk). It should be gone in a month or so.

Martin and the staff are very friendly, and they really try to help you as much as they can. I loved the location of the lodge which gives you a genuine experience of being in the middle of the jungle. The cabins are comfortable enough and blend perfectly with the surroundings.

Cabañas eco lógicas mu'ü tiene vistas al jardín, está en Loreto Mocagua y cuenta con restaurante y cocina compartida. You'll live in the middle of a national park, with the local indigenous Mocagua community 40 minutes away by foot as the next village. You'll be fully immersed in the life in the jungle, with John and his family taking excellent care of you. The activities are great as well - we focused on hikes and boat tours. The price of activities might seem high, but they are organised just for you.

Amazona Lodge se encuentra en Leticia y ofrece alojamiento de de 3 estrellas con acceso a un jardín y terraza. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. Pilar built herself a little paradise. The „garden“ is beautiful. You sleep with all the animal sounds at night, it’s even more amazing when it rains but it gets really really loud at night, if you need a quiet place to sleep this is not it. I listen to animal and rainy sounds on spotify to fall asleep so it was easy for me. There will also be insects in the house (which I didn’t mind). The shower is spacious. Pilar is a very friendly and attentive host and will organize the tours for you. Just tell her what you want to do. Wifi works good.

Reserva Natural Tanimboca está en Leticia. El lodge cuenta con un restaurante que sirve cocina local. Beautiful location. Very isolated. Zip lines are cool and guides are great but it’s not for the less adventurous of your party.

Reserva Natural Natura Park ofrece alojamiento en Puerto Nariño y cuenta con restaurante. Algunas unidades incluyen zona de estar y/o balcón. El lodge dispone de terraza, además de jardín. Buenas instalaciones, el personal muy atento, si quieren desconexión es el lugar ideal.

El Hotel Amazon está situado en el centro de Leticia, a pocos minutos del río Amazonas, en la frontera entre Colombia, Perú y Brasil. Nuestro grupo llego retrasado por 2 dias al hotel por motivo de problemas con la aerolínea, La señora Judith fue muy receptiva y nos permitió cambiar la reserva para llegar 2 días mas tarde, lo cual agradecimos muchísimo ya que hubiésemos perdido dos días de otro modo. La localización del hotel es muy buena ya que Leticia es un sitio estratégico para salir a distintos sitios en el area y esta en un area muy central donde hay varios restaurantes disponibles. El desayuno fue fantástico y la atención ni se diga, muy personalizada y atenta. El hotel ofrece aire acondicionado y Wifi los cuales eran esenciales para nosotros. Definitivamente el hotel ofrece mucho por el valor, queda totalmente recomendado.
